More sisterhood power, and I’m here for it! But dang it for the cliffhangers. I’m glad I jumped on this series’ train late because hopefully I get answers later this month. Still annoyed that characters I don’t like keep getting what the doesn’t deserve.

This may have taken me a while to finish but it was so good! The ending had me on the edge of my seat. Excited that a fourth one is coming soon.

I liked this one a lot!! It posed situations that I didn’t see coming at all and I loved the character development as they solved their different problems. I’m rooting for all the characters to find their happy endings! Kinda annoyed with the ending though, we’ve already done the
people in hospital/sick/dying people thing already with the king and himari
so I hope McGee continues to find ways to keep it interesting.

Beatrice, as always, you're both the Queen of America and of my heart.
I love that she had very real emotions and thoughts. The whole "connects to a group and feels welcome" storyline became an absolute home run for me because... relatable.
The new characters enrich the story and the old ones keep us coming back.

BUT THAT ENDING. JAIL. IMMEDIATELY.

Another good installment of the American Royals series. It definitely took me awhile to get into the book, but once I was in it was a quick read. This one may be my least favorite of the three though; it felt like a filler book between bigger plot points.
It was interesting, and nice, to see Beatrice get to interact with her peers that are her age; this is really the first time she’s been indicated to having (or making) friends, which is incredibly lonely.
The Daphne/Nina plot was interesting, and briefly made me like Daphne, then the League of Kings after party happened and I’m right back at not liking her.
I am most curious about Samantha and Marshall in the next book; will they remain in Hawaii or come back to the states? Will their letter be taken as renunciation or will they be accepted back? Will they want to come back?
