This book answers questions that all of us have probably had about death at some point in our lives. Caitlin Doughty is a mortician and content creator who dedicates her platform to making the world feel more comfortable with death and all that comes with it. I have always struggled with a lot of these concepts so reading this was outside of my comfort zone, but I found it extremely informative, accessible and even funny. The only reason why i didn't give it quite 5 stars is just because I would've liked some chapters to have more information.

Many amazing and interesting questions about death answered, thanks to kids who asked about them. I never wondered what happens if you die in space, but now I know. The humour and illustrations made this a light read, couldn't recommend enough.

Easy read, loved the format. If you enjoy her YouTube videos, you'll love this book.

this didn’t land with me as much as her other two books, (likely due to its aim towards a younger audience) but i enjoyed it just the same. i think taking a look at the table of contents (thank you for having one, my god) will be able to help you figure out if the book is for you.

it features very graphic descriptions about death, corpses, and decomposition, but i figure you wouldn’t have picked this up for any other reason.
