Does exactly what it says on the cover. Functional look at various types of armour employed by the Soviet forces during the cold war.

Looks at: tanks, infantry fighting vehicles, armoured personnel carriers, anti-tank vehicles, reconnaisance vehicles, self-propelled anti-aircraft weapons/guns/howitzers/mortars, multiple rocket launchers and tactical ballistic missiles.

Each entry has a description explaining its use and variants, a picture and a table of armour, weapons and capabilities.
