More of a 3.5.

I acknowledge that there are a few issues with plot, such as some of the later reveals seemed like they could have come up sooner to make the storyline more interesting. I also find Charlie fairly annoying. She reminds me a lot of Snotgirl, except a bit less satirical in nature. I won't write her off yet, because there has to be something going on with her for her to have a 2 million bounty on her head.

I am very here for Vita. Sure, the rakishly good-looking badass who gets the girl is a trope. But rarely, if ever, is the person filling this role a female. Vita is fantastically well-rounded, and I want to know more about her. Her storyline is developed enough to flesh her out, and there is still more to uncover. She's so cool, and she is also flawed and human. I, obviously, dig it.

It was definitely interesting. I can't wait for what volume two has in store (Because I do not buy single issues.)

Art is cute, characters are fine, I can't believe they're really going to drag this plot out to an extended run comic. I'm already exhausted.

The premise is interesting. The world-building could have been better but was still engaging. It was the the characters, especially Charlie, that left a lot to be desired. She was annoying... I wanted to understand her but man she made it difficult. She never took her situation seriously and actively went out of her way to endanger others including her defender, Vita. Vita was almost interesting but she was so cliché - morally ambiguous hero who is good with a gun and fighting and has recently broken up with someone - to the point were Vita was more of an idea or concept rather than an actual character. It could have been better but the ending of this volume made it so I am kinda still interested in seeing why Charlie has a campaign against her. It had that going for it but not much else. Maybe this book is an acquired taste.

I loved this. Vita is a goddamn hero, and I love the chemistry between her and Charlie. The whole premise of the story is hilarious (kickstarters for murders?) and the satire of a world the authors created is equally delightful.

I really really like the art style, it suites the characters personalities perfectly and keeps the story flowing. The artist did a fantastic job capturing emotion and tone, I could hear the characters taking with unique voices just from the line work. Probably one of the most impressive examples of this I’ve seen.

The balance between action, humor, and mystery had me devour this in an hour. I need to read the next volume NOW
