One of the worst books I've ever read. The characters are so cliched and one-dimensional that I don't end up rooting for any of them. The twist isn't exactly a twist because you knew the author had to get there somewhere.
None of the characters had any chemistry at all. Dannie seems to have very deep resentment for her so-called best friend given that she constantly compares herself with Bella. Like she can never describe Bella as her own person, but always in relation to her. The relationship between Dannie and Aaron didn't feel earned at all. No tension, no chemistry, no passion. Not even gonna mention David. Wouldn't have made a difference if he was in the story or not.
I understand that this is supposed to be more than just a romance novel, but man the characters are so incredibly bland that I didn't really care what happened to any of them.

This book had it‘s strong phases and it definitely made me ugly cry. Still, were the last few paragraphs really necessary? They kinda ruined everything for me. Also, the beginning was so boring.
