Incredibly prescient. LOVED the first half. The ending didn't hold up for me, but holy shit the amount of accuracy in this book was incredible. Lots to chew on.

" 'Pandemics happen. They've always happened. Nature is cruel. Don't know why people always feel the need to blame someone for them.' "

" 'Know what I tell folks who disagree with me, sister? I tell them, "That's fine, but I'll be the one having the last laugh when I've celebrated my hundredth birthday, and you've already long since succumbed.'" Faith put her cup on the tray and stood up. 'Not everyone wants to live to be 100, you know. If that's your life's purpose, I feel sorry for you. I do. For all of you. Now get out.' "
