Fun, fun, fun! Five stories - introduced by the Joker Tales-From-the-Crypt style, each one focusing on one of Gotham's most heinous baddies. Looking forward to reading volume 2 next.

An uneven collection of Joker stories that are full of the same tired storylines we've heard dozens of times before. The art is decent and varied, but it's just not that memorable.

Mixed bag anthology starring Batman's Rogues Gallery.
The Penguin, Joker, Poison Ivy, and Clayface had the best stories. I was especially impressed by the game show nightmare tale "The Joker's Mild" and the great Clayface cult story "Mudnight Madness", the latter featuring some gorgeous gothic artwork by comic king Kelley Jones.

Oooh, this is a fun one. Creepshow or Tales from the Crypt concept meets the Batman world, the mien of which lends itself well to anthology horror. Joker is the Cryptkeeper guiding us through five stories featuring five notorious Batman villains (Joker, Penguin, Poison Ivy, Scarecrow, and Two-Face). These stories are nasty and not about Batman saving the day. Each story is done by a different artist and different writer in a different style, and I just loved it. More, now, again.

Nice little collection of shorts featuring Scarecrow, Poison Ivy, Two Face, Penguin, and Joker. It's narrated Tales of the Crypt style by Joker himself. There are some morals in there somewhere but really it's a decent break from the usual time/emotional investment in a Batman story arc. I enjoyed it.
