I did not enjoy this one as much as the first one, but it was still good. I liked how the author managed to make things different even though it might have been a slightly similar situation. The characters are their own people, and it was interesting to see how they behaved differently. I would say the title is misleading because this clone is not worse, but I do understand the title is a naming device for the series. I just hope If there's another book the next clone will be more challenging but still manage to be a cinnamon roll on the inside.

The setting and circumstances were not as dire and dangerous in this one. There were still some tense moments, but I was able to count on things working out more easily and not being as stressful. Though I do like the excitement of more dire situations, there was plenty of sexu@l tension in this.

My one critique would be that I felt the heroine did not show us dealing with any of her past trauma. She was a s3x sl@ve for five years, and yet she never hesitates in fear from Crulden/Victor. On one hand I was glad because it makes it an easier, sweet love story, but on the other I couldn't really believe it.

i was actually nervous about starting this book because it was one of my anticipated reads, and i was afraid of being disappointed. luckily it was good

i loved bee, she’s so relatable. i relate to her using her size and her unassuming appearance to fool people into thinking she’s dumb. as a woman i’ve had to do that myself. she was great for viktor and she’s exactly what he sorely needed.

they’re perfect for each other.
