About half way through I wasn't sure I was going to finish the book. I felt the first half was chaotic and just full of cheese, stereotypes and clichés. I really liked the characters, the found family and most of the jokes. Kallum's family has Big Fat Greek Wedding vibes, which I loved. I enjoyed the second half a lot more than the first half, and that really saved the book for me. The second half allowed for more depth to the characters and gave context to their behavior in the first half of the book. Although it wasn't a slam dunk holiday rom-com, (and some of the spice was awkwardly introduced) I enjoyed most of it and I'm glad I read it.

Honestly, this was a fun book to read while I had a cold. Easy, sweet, and very millennial. But who am I to judge.
