Ugh I didn't realize this was accidental pregnancy, I was really enjoying this book until that happened

I don’t usually like the pregnancy trope but I really like how this was done.

A cute and fun christmas romance. What I really liked about it was that we got characters in their 30s instead of always having really young characters.

I wish I could rate this higher but the intense ick I got every time the MMC thought or talked about all of the women he's slept with took me out of the story

I did not exactly love this book but I didn’t hate it either. I couldn’t get into it and kept getting distracted by other books. I honestly probably wouldn’t have finished it if I hadn’t won it on a Goodreads contest!

I had read just enough reviews to have an idea of what was coming (without it being totally spoiled)  in the second half of the book. Given that it seemed like it was about to rely on the two main troupes everyone almost universally hates, I had mentally prepped myself.

The first half of the book was hot and fun, and if you can stomach the
surprise pregnancy
troupe, I think the second half is pretty well done. It makes sense given Winnie’s upbringing and allows Kallum (and Winnie) to show growth.

I’m really enjoying the series. You can tell the writers had an absolute blast working on these and I can’t wait to get my hands on the third book.
