Really thoughtful and insightful. A deep look into the psyche of one of the worlds best all time climbers.

Incredible story. I watched his Netflix documentary "the Dawn Wall" just before starting this book and so I could picture everything he talks about. This book is making me want to get back into climbing again!

This is a hard book to review as anyone who has climbed would give this a solid 5 star rating. Non-climbers might not be able to appreciate just how difficult climbing the Dawn Wall (and many of Tommy Caldwell's other accomplishments) really is and give it a 4 star rating. Being an amateur climber myself and the fact that goodreads doesn't allow half stars the book gets all 5 stars. Well told story with greater detail than what was presented in the fabulous documentary "Dawn Wall". See the documentary and then read the book!

Good! Loved "getting to know" Tommy in this book and hearing how his upbringing and relationships molded him into the climber he is today.

Super awesome read. There’s something to be said about fighting since being put on this earth. Inspiring and made me more determined in my convictions.
