This book was a brilliant commentary on gender and the experience of that, not just from a binary trans perspective but non-binary and as someone who isn't white as well in something that has such a white narrative. How we should look at gender within us and allow other people to thrive in their own gender. Even Travis themselves explores their identity as you continue through this book.
The exploration of the catastrophe that is the uk with the continuing rise in hate crimes, with the dramatic increase definitely for trans people.
