I think I loved this book most out of all the books, other than Outlander. There are so many stories going on I this book. I cannot wait to read Echo now.

The action! The drama! The humour! Might be my favourite book in the series so far

I had deliberately not been reading these last two books because if I read them, I'd be caught up and not have anything I knew would be excellent to read. But it got too hard for me to resist, so I read it. And I loved it. Can I tell you how much I giggled when Jem looks up and says, "Hello. I'm Johnny Cash." XD Anyway, this one was just as excellent as the previous ones. LOVE it.

This was really fast paced. So much action packed into this book. The only critique I have is that sometimes the resolutions or other incidents were kind of convenient. I've seen this in other books too. Phaedra working for Stephen Bonnet? Too coincidental. Also, I really want these two to take a vacation. They are always in some sort of trouble. Let these two be would you?

All that aside, I really enjoyed the action in this book. Diana is an excellent writer. So descriptive! She writes eloquently without condescension. I am so impressed with the way she makes me feel like I am there. Like these people are real!

Next!!

Don't get me wrong, I definitely enjoyed this book. But books do not usually take me over a month to read. I have to say I got a little bit burnt out on this one. Around the middle somewhere, I lost steam. However, I will say that the last 400 pages went really fast. Very exciting indeed! I will read the next book, I just think I need a nice long break at this point.
