Odd - Don’t waste your time or money

This has to be one of the strangest books I have read. The pacing of this book is all off. There is no character development, no real story or challenge for the couple. No real other supporting characters with the exception of a very brief mention of Bishop. This book is basically two very long and poorly described sex scenes. It is a very strange love at first sight but very unrealistic and I just couldn’t get on board. I did finish the book but only because it is so short, and thank goodness for that. I wouldn’t recommend this book. It was a total waste of money and time.

This is a story can be summed up by saying you know when you know.
For some people it takes something tragic or life altering bridge before they realize they are in love. Some people know instantly that they have just met the love of their life. Here, Oliver and Adele went through a hiccup on their journey to forever.

I love their connection and how consuming their love was. I don’t love novellas because it doesn’t allow for character development and a lot of background information. That’s what I desperately wanted here, to know about them individually.

This is a short, sweet and spicy insta love story. Two people meet and fall into bed. But one disappears the next morning. Good thing the other is relentless and won’t give up till they find the other. This book was a quick fun read from Jenika Snow

I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review.

This story was so freaking sweet and hot as heck. Adele and Oliver had a beautiful night together but their paths divided after that. But Oliver just couldn't forget the woman that made his heart beat faster.

This author always delivers exactly what I got to her books for. If you're looking for Alpha AF heroes, she's got you. If you are looking for trope filled, fun, novella length books full of steam and for the most part little to no angst? She's got you. And this is the first book of hers I've read that's an interracial romance (we love to see it, plus 10/10 cover love) This was cute. Adorable actually and how did she get those tropes to tie up? You'll have to read it to find out what they are and how she does it, but SHE DOES THE THING. Now can we get a book with the owner of the bar? Please? I volunteered to read and review an early copy of this. All opinions are my own.

This was a sweet and sexy short story that can be read in under 40 minutes. I could easily read anything else about Adele and Oliver for days, because talk about I could feel the l o n g i n g these two had from the page. It was *chef's kiss* Jenika knows how to pull you in such a short time.

I really enjoyed this short and sweet interracial romance! I haven’t read many romance novels involving love at first sight/insta love and to my surprise I really enjoyed it! I really loved that this story focused on the couple in that bubble of new love, when nothing else matters except the hero and heroines love for one another! I also loved the the way the characters were described, just subtle hints like the hero’s blue eyes and the heroines long black braids, and dark skin, letting us know the story is interracial but not shifting the focus from their pure love to dwelling on their skin tones. These two had amazing chemistry, and there are some
