I‘m really not that into morally grey characters. I really love Stella though, what an amazing protagonist.

this series has a chokehold over me & I will absolutely never be over it!!! I was beyond ready for stella and christian’s story, and it did not disappoint 👏🏼

christian is my favorite allusive morally grey character (and in my head he’s ben barnes okay 🥵)! I know he gets a lot of hate for being overprotective and literally willing to unalive people for looking at those he cares about the wrong way … BUT he has a heart of gold and he can do no wrong in my book

I’m whipped it’s fine

just like my queen stella!! she’s an inspiration, an icon, and she deserves to feel like the legend that she is! dealing with concepts of being an influencer, I loved that ideas such as creating fake content and “asking for it” just because your profile is public were a huge part of the plot. it’s important to treat everyone like a human being!!!

however, I think my favorite scenes were those with jules, ava, and bridget (and their boyfriends of course) ☺️ AND with dante and vivian! having already read KING OF WRATH, I appreciated how it all tied together but also set up the plot for those who haven’t read it yet!

the suspense wasn’t as intense or shocking as I would have liked, but it certainly kept my intrigue up for 500+ pages

ana huang has solidified herself as an auto buy author for me, and I need her to write more ASAP!!

I liked both MCs more than I expected… until we neared the climax. Why oh why was the climax was it was?

Spoiler nothing like a crazy stalker to make another one seem not so crazy? It’s like oh Christian only searched and knew everything about me for a year, the other guy wanted to kidnap and kill me so jk I love you Christian. Ironically, I think his year stint wouldn’t have been so bad if he’d like gotten therapy or something for it back then vs just ok imma stop now?

First I would like to say that this book was perfect to end the series. It was so heartwarming to see all the characters from the previous books and of course characters from the book itself. It tied everything up in a excellent way! I literally don’t want the series to stop. These books consumed me and the characters were so lovable.
Ok moving onto the actual book. I’ve heard some complaints that this books characters take forever to get together. But personally I loved it. It was nice to see them both want each other but not want to react on it. The time it took for them together wasn’t just “passing” moments. The moments were real and raw and gave the characters to really learn about each other before getting in a relationship. They had conversations that most couples would have in a relationship and most likely fight about, but they had these conversations as friends. So it was almost easier for them to start an relationship. I loved the characters and the way they both are pinning for each other. They are really a perfect match. Stella is lovable and cute! I also love her aesthetic! Stella was a boss woman she was creating her brand and really diving into who she really is as a person, which I loved. Christian I loved him as well. I loved all the ways he bends his rules for Stella. Some of the different things he did were so sweet. It shows his vulnerable side. He is so tender when it comes to Stella, as much so that I want somebody to be like that to me! The only thing I wasn’t a huge fan of the fact he sort of stalk her, but I did love the fact he kept that ring. He barely even knew her and kept the ring because it reminded him of her. Ugh Christian is literally so head over heels in love with from the start and that’s why the book is worth the wait for them to be a couple.
Anyways, I want to read this book again for the first time! It’s definitely one of those books that after you read it you think about the different scenes again for awhile. This series is wonderful! I am not huge series reader, so they fact that I read all 4 books, and one of those books had over 500 pages, then this series is an AMAZING! I get intimidated by books with 500+ page. I give a round of applause to Ana Huang for writing such lovable characters and interesting plots!👏🏻💗

Christian Harper is a dangerous and ruthless businessman, but when he enters into a fake dating arrangement with the woman he can’t get out of his head, Stella Alonso, he may turn out to have a soft heart after all…

If you’ve been following my Twisted series journey you know that I’ve been having so much fun reading these books, and I’m so sad that the series has now come to an end. Fortunately, it came to an end in the best way possible because I LOVED THIS BOOK.

Christian is absolute top-tier morally gray perfection in custom Brioni. I already loved him from his appearances in the prior books, but getting into his head and his heart was SO special and I love him so much. Was every choice he made “good” or “legal” or “remotely morally justifiable”? No. Would I marry him anyway? Yes. (It’ll be a beautiful wedding, we just need to get past the perkiness of him…not existing. *sigh*)

Stella is also a phenomenal leading woman—at one point she described herself as “vulnerable but not weak” and that resonated for the entire book because I thought it was the perfect descriptor. I also related heavily to many of her insecurities and anxieties, which made me love her all the more.

The plot of this one was also super entertaining—from the adorable cameos from the prior couples (all of whom brought their A-game to this book) to the action and mystery and tension of the stalking storyline.

In short, truly a home run in every way—this one will stick with me as a long-time favorite!

Recommended to anyone, but especially if you like: fake dating; forced proximity; touch her and you die

CW: Murder/violence/torture; loved one with Alzheimer’s; stalking; discussions of suicide
