I love the bromance between Magnus and Raphael. And I love Magnus' kindness in saving nearly lost souls.

This one was way better than [b:The Rise of the Hotel Dumort|17334064|The Rise of the Hotel Dumort (The Bane Chronicles, #5)|Cassandra Clare|http://d202m5krfqbpi5.cloudfront.net/books/1378246307s/17334064.jpg|23753622], but not as great as [b:The Midnight Heir|17334074|The Midnight Heir (The Bane Chronicles, #4)|Cassandra Clare|http://d202m5krfqbpi5.cloudfront.net/books/1376078133s/17334074.jpg|23753611], my favourite so far.

Still, I'll give it 5 stars, because it made me like Raphael a lot more.

I saw a side of him I had not quite seen thus far. A certain vulnerability and, despite all the awful things he did, innocence.

I think a person who thinks he's an evil creature, doomed to an eternity of suffering in hell, and so suffers so much with that belief can't be that bad.

Read this one, Shadowhunters!

I'm really looking forward to the movie version of Raphael!!! :) I love his story and how much he loved his mom... and his adorable cat-dog relationship with Magnus! Haha!

3.5 stars (Goodreads should really offer in half stars). Really enjoyed seeing the connection to Raphael Santiago (Mortal Instruments). Overall, a good little read.

I think this is my favorite story so far. I loved how Magnus helped Raphael! The ending was very heartwarming!! I liked learning about Raphael story, and that Magnus was the one there helping him.

Ayy mi corazón. Saber la historia de Raphael después de saber lo que le pasa es muy triste
