Very interesting story within a story Russian doll style. No surprising turns or events, but was entertaining enough

A story within a story within a story. I love a good unreliable narrator. May or may not have cried at the end.

This was so hard to read, very slow and obscure, but I liked the feminism and self-awareness laced throughout...

I had put off reading this book for a long time because people were constantly telling me how it was a story within a story within a story and flipped flopped back and forth and was confusing and hard to follow. I wanted to be able to focus my attention on it so I kept saying "Oh I'll read it after I finish XYZ..." and would just keep putting it aside.

But I stopped doing that and what do I find? It wasn't confusing at all. I fell into it quickly and enjoyed the entire ride. Margaret Atwood is quickly becoming one of my favorite authors.
