As much as I really enjoyed this book, I struggled between a 3 and 4 star rating. There were a couple of reasons: there seemed to be more editing errors in this book and the way Arabelle acting about certain things.

First, the editing errors. They were little things, but became an annoyance. Little things like words spelled incorrectly, or using the incorrect word. Like storage and strange. Storage is not spelled wrong, but doesn't make sense. The more annoying issue is the time issue. At one point there was a reference to Will's tension from the night before when it had been the same day.

As for Arabelle, I really did understand where she was coming from on most fronts. Not on the way she acted toward Lainie and the other ladies though. There is a redeeming scene toward the end, a light bulb moment if you will, that had me deciding on the 4 stars instead of 3. But there were times throughout the story that she really pissed me off.

I have really enjoyed the writing of this collaborative team so I was bummed that it seemed to be the last book. Then there were a few things about cousins in another town that seemed to be a set up for more stories. Sure enough, I found out there is another series out there that I can sink my teeth into. I just hope they have better covers. I know I've said it before, but the covers to these books are just awful and do not do urge one to pick the book up. This cover is probably the least appealing...why is there a baby feeding himself? Just silly to me.
