This is somewhere between 4 and 5 stars, but I think the better parts far outweigh any parts that I didn't particularly enjoy. I went into this book thinking that it was going to be some snobby Victorian romance love story...and I was COMPLETELY wrong. It was AWESOME! Bronte does a brilliant job capturing the insanity, obsessiveness, and cruelty that can come from a myriad of people (specifically Heathcliff though). Anyway, I loved the book. One of the better Victorian period novels.

Took me a while to read as it’s my first classic, however i did very much enjoy this book and got very invested into the characters. I wish i could fully understand the language as i think that would have invested me even further
