A very fun concept, full of interesting tidbits, and a variety of music. I found some new favourite pieces, and my Spotify wrapped for the year was heavily classical music influenced š
Occasionally there will be longer pieces (20m) - it's a shame the length isn't mentioned so you can prepare to listen as most of the music is under 5m and the text is less than a page. There is quite a lot of worship music too, and opera which wasn't what I expected.
Really cute idea, I'd do it again - but not every year š

I enjoyed my year of wonder and marked quite a lot of musical pieces to explore further, either learn more about the composer, explore the music or learn to play it. I also confirmed that I really don't care much for singing in classical music.

Lovely short reads for every day ... and suggestions for classical music in a very approachable voice ... I appreciated how she moved both in the canon (Mozart, etc.) and way beyond it, particularly the stories of amazing women composers working/writing to stake out some ground in a culture that didn't often recognize their talents, or actively muffled their music.

A very fun way of listening to more classical music. Iām going to miss starting my day with this!

Loved this journey through classical music during 2019, especially its care to go beyond just the dead white men that everyone associates with classical music. I discovered so many composers and performers that I would never have known about otherwise. I am finding myself wishing there was a second volume for 2020.

I have tried 3 years to do this and some of the music is very good but idk if it's just too much to keep up with or what but I can't manage it.

Didn't keep up with it every day and then it became an onerous task. Would be good in podcast/audio format with the music combined.
