The 4th star is just for the Blacktornes! !
Simon kind of annoyed me in this one. Agh.
But seeing Mark and Julian with the kids broke my heart and I'm dying to read The Dark Artifices!
I almost cry when Mark was remembering his siblings and when Julian was talking with the kids. not fare Cassandra :(

Mark...my poor Mark...lonely, bitter Mark...
Such a sad, sad tale! I can't imagine how it must be like to exist locked away from everyone and everything you love, constantly tormented by hopelessness and cruel hope at the same time.
To think the ones you once looked up to turned their backs on you and no longer consider you a part of them...
I've said it a thousand times and I'm saying it again - I both love and hate Shadowhunters. They can be strong, brave and selfless, but they are cruel, selfish and cowardly as a whole.

🚨🚨 Poor Mark Blackthorn 😢 I hate what the Clave is doing to the Blackthorn family. Simon is right how can they call themselves Shadowhunter’s when they turn on their own just because their half Fairy or Downworlder. They all need to be better Shadowhunter’s and changed their laws.
