Definitely not a book of philosophy, but an enjoyable reflection on what it means to be tattooed, along with some interesting (though all too short) history.

Interesting account of tattoos from indigenous origins to colonial rule to contemporary issues. Would not consider it very philosophical though... Good read nonetheless

I quite enjoyed this book! It made me reflect on my fear of tattoos and any prejudice I had of them. It also explained why tattoos and so many other things feel ‘empty’ in our modern world. Quick, easy to read, and the title explains it all.
