Better than your average romance novel. Also, the bonus chapter is SPICY?!?! All of Ali Hazelwood's books have some spice but from his POV ... I don't know if I liked him more or less after that. I think I liked reading it more but that level of possessiveness is only attractive in books. Overall, if you like her other books you'll like this one and don't do what Olive does. :)

I enjoyed The Love Hypothesis more than I thought I would! I picked it up at the airport last weekend, and I finished it three days after. I love books that jump right into the action, and this certainly did. This was also my first time in the world of romance books. I enjoyed the minimal spice and the friends-to-lovers, fake-dating plot! I would love to read more by Hazelwood in the future.

The story between Adam and Olive is so cute! All the things they do and the reference that it’s turning into the stereotypical romance plot by the characters was so funny. I love their relationship
and the fact that they had met before when Olive was applying
. Even though there is an age gap it’s still quite cute. There was a quite graphic sex scene but it was kind of necessary to show the development of their relationship.
I like that there wasn’t really any point in the story when they hated each other but I kind of wished there was a bit more of it. Tom’s betrayal at the end was appalling the way he treated Olive and i’m a bit annoyed she didn’t realize she had taped it earlier
It was so cute and i loved it so much!

I did not expect to like this book as much as I did but honestly I had such a good time reading it. There were times where I literally wanted to jump up and down squealing when reading this book. I loved the setting and the characters and the banter it all just worked together so well.
There was a miscommunication that led to a third act break up and as overused and annoying as that trope is I didn't even mind it. The fact that I didn't even mind the presence of my least favorite tropes is really telling of how much I like this book.
I think the fact that this was originally a fanfiction is what made me enjoy it even more. I love fanfiction and when I was reading certain parts of the book I could definitely identify the fanfiction influence which was so fun. This was just such a lovely, well developed, feel good book and I'm definitely gonna read more books by the author.
