I don’t care what anyone says, I love this book. It was my reintroduction to reading and I thought it was cute and enjoyable.

I really loved this!
It's easy to ready, even for people who are not native English speakers.
The characters are very likeable, I especially loved Adam. Although I think that better communication would have solved a lot of their issues.
I also liked how tropes such as "Fake Dating" and "there is only one bed" are used in a non-clichee way.
Although it deals with a few more serious topics as well, it's a very light read and a lot of fun!

This book is definitely better then Love on the Brain. Maybe that’s a controversial opinion but it’s my opinion.

I have two questions.
1- Why did he put her entire boob in his mouth?
2- Does Adam have a foot fetish?

It’s a book I would recommend (more then Love on the Brain) but definitely not to everyone. There is a lot of miscommunication that’s could have been solved

****SPOILERS****

I enjoyed this book it was a cute read (even if the sex scene made me uncomfortable) The characters are cute. I did suspect that the villain in this story would be either Tom or Jeremy. And Adam being the bathroom guy was obvious in my opinion. And so was Adam having a crush on her.

In this book I was actually rooting for Olive and Adam unlike Love on the Brains Bee and Levi.

And Olive didn’t make me want to punch her in the face so that’s a plus.

I don’t have much to say about this book because it wasn’t really anything extraordinary I’m sorry to say that. I didn’t get overly attached to the characters and I feel like their romance had no push back ever at all. There was no reason they couldn’t actually be together.

But it also wasn’t the worst thing I have read this far. The romance was cute and the characters were likable. Her moms death wasn’t really as big of a point in this book as I expected it to be when I first read that her mom died. Adams family also wasn’t a big deal his adviser was more of his problems. There weren’t many sad parts really at all (I highlight my books, also controversial, but I realized while looking back through the book after I was done I maybe highlighted two parts of the book that’s were sad)

It’s a average book but makes me dislike the author less knowing she can write non infuriating characters.

I enjoyed this much more than I thought I would considering my previous foray into Hazelwood’s stuff. I was heavily invested and the story was fun and addictive.

I will say, however, the writing wasn’t exactly great. It was absolutely littered with predictable plot points, heinous tropes and weird turns of phrase. I was absolutely sick of hearing how absolutely gargantuan and broad and tall and massive Adam is and how he has so many abs and rippling pecs and… give it a rest, Olive. The way the author wrote. Like. This. For. Emphasis. and repeated the same thing several times to portray awkwardness was also extremely agitating.

Every single character other than Adam annoyed me greatly at some point in the novel - I found the characterisation of the gay characters to be a bit on the nose and stereotypical … did the gay character really have to be known to be promiscuous? Olive was utterly frustrating throughout and I wish she would just communicate one time - but I guess that wouldn’t make for a good novel. The smutty scenes were actually not bad which is surprising considering, but there were some lines in there that were very … peculiar, let’s say.

Overall, lived up to the hype! Definitely a fun-filled read.

When biology PhD student Olive accidentally kisses the most ruthless professor in the department she finds herself in a fake dating relationship with Dr. Aydam Carlsen.
The two of them slowly begin to catch feelings over a weekly Starbucks and drama unfolds at an academic conference.

I just finished the Love Hypothesis by Ali Hazelwood and I loved it. I could not put this book down. The fake dating and grumpy X sunshine tropes were so fun. I felt so many emotions while reading and was so sad when I finished it.

I highly recommend!
