Are you kidding me? When I picked this book from the library, it was at such a random time. I didn't even need to pick a book to read because I already have plenty of books in my TBR list. I checked out the book anyway, and as soon as I read the first page, I was HOOKED.

I wasn't expecting to fall in love with the book, but I did. I have been looking for a book that is similar to Gone Girl. I thought I would figure out the ending of this book, but I didn't. I love it through and through!

An interesting, no-nonsense murder thriller that I really enjoyed. The premise was interesting and kept me turning the pages as the investigation wore on. Harriet's surprise at Lonergan's attitude and behavior felt unrealistic but at least it didn't drag out for the whole book. Looking forward to the next book in the series.

Tracy Clark's "Hide" is an enthralling thriller that captivates from the very first page. The novel is an expertly woven tapestry of tension, suspense, and mystery, keeping readers glued to its pages until the final word. Harriet Foster, the tenacious and relatable protagonist, grabs your attention and refuses to let go. Her determination and resilience in the face of danger make her a character to root for, and I couldn't help but cheer her on as she navigated the treacherous twists and turns of the plot.

The pacing of the story is impeccable, as Clark skillfully balances moments of calm introspection with heart-pounding action sequences. Each chapter leaves you craving for more, and the author's ability to maintain a high level of suspense throughout is commendable.

One of the highlights of "Hide" is its clever and satisfying ending. Without giving away any spoilers, it ties up loose ends while leaving room for future developments in the series. Clark's clever resolution showcases her skill as a storyteller and readers will be left eagerly anticipating what lies ahead for Harriet Foster and the world she inhabits.

After finishing "Hide," I am eager to dive into the entire series. Tracy Clark's writing style is engaging and accessible, making it easy to become fully immersed in the narrative. I highly recommend "Hide" to fans of gripping thrillers, and I have no doubt that the subsequent books in the series will be just as captivating.

A decent entry into mystery for a beginner like, but considerably predictable and not very memorable. Despite this, the dynamic between certain characters amongst other things have me interested in the rest of the series.
