This read like fanfiction of the series and not the actual series if that makes sense

This was awesome! At first, it seemed to go a little slow, but the action, the plots, the mystery, and the truths started quickly to be discovered. I loved everything about this book and the waiting was worth it. The twists and the discovery of the new characters and what they mean and their purpose for the entire story and world-building are magnificent. Jennifer really knows how to keep you in the storyline. I loved the fact that the book has a dual perspective story telling and finally, we get Cas's point of view and more into his feelings and emotions. I can't wait for the 5th book and for ALITF because I feel like we'll need to know a whole lot more of the gods before the 5th book arrives.

Kieran falling in love with Poppy is SO bad written. It's the only reason I'm not giving it 5.

i liked this book a bit more than the previous 3 books in this series. i’ve only continued reading this series only out of curiosity to know how the storyline progresses - mainly because of the questions i’d have after reading the cliffhangers at the end of every single book. after reading this book, i’m even more confused because there was so much info that was thrown at us. at this point i have no idea who’s what and what their powers and weaknesses are.

the highlight of this book however was obviously the reaver. i love the draken so much. omg. there was barely enough reaver content in this book. i need MORE reaver content pleasee!
