Lo más tierno que leí en LA VIDA. El contraste de la vida de los personajes ----> todo
Pensé que me iba a enojar con el final pero me terminó encantando <3

This was a second read for me. I read this book years ago and remember loving but my memory fails me.

So here we are. It made me laugh and cry and smile and reminisce.

The characters draw me in. I want to be there. To reach into the book. Even the second time reading it I couldn’t put it down.

It is the perfect read to make you feel and delve into the worlds of Rainbow Rowell.

I loved every aspect of this book.
Every character had their own weird personality and they embraced it.
It covered some serious parental issues, but in such an amazing way.
I highly enjoyed this novel

I liked this, and it was a relatively quick read for me, but I didn't get sucked into it on a "omg I have to finish this book and know what happens" level. Liked it, but didn't love it. I guess I just didn't get as hyped up about it as everyone else.

I can't even believe how weepy I was reading this book. So well written and full of tenderness no one would believe possible for a YA novel.

A touching and sweet coming of age story that I instantly fell in love with. Reading this story brought back memories of my adolescence - mixed cassette tapes and all. It had had moments that had me smiling and moments that had me in tears. It was a quick and easy read. I finished reading it in an evening. I couldn't put it down. I needed to find out what happened to Eleanor & Park.

I genuinely have no words for expressing how happy I am with this book. Last year I read Fangirl and I loved Rainbow Rowell's writing and that's what made me buy this book. I had a feeling this was going to be a sad book but I guess the right word is hopeful.
Yes, the book made me sad but so so so much happy as well. Eleanor and Park, are just awesome and there's no other way they can be described. Their story has the right amount of innocence, naughtiness, anxiousness, romance, the way what's going on with Eleanor of written so sensibily.
I really liked the fact that without having any gory details it was well written how hard Eleanor's life is at her stepdad's. The tension and fear of being with an abuser were very well conveyed.
On the cover of the book, there's John Green's review and similarly, this book reminded me of the beauty of starting to be in love with a person and being in love for the first time. It really, made me want to be in love...
And for the last three words I don't think it's I love you though I don't have words I have a feeling it might be a song name or a comic reference. That seems more accurate in their case.
I will have to read the other book by Rainbow Rowell. The two books I read are making me feel things.

I didn't hate it but I didn't love it. There were a lot of inaccuracies that I just couldn't get over because she made them a part of the story but they weren't correct. I think the author was trying to skirt over certain racial realities while delving into  the topics of child abuse, absent parents, spousal abuse, bullying, etc. There were just too many things happening in the story for me to really get a feel of what was going on.
I know some reviews said the romance felt unrealistic, but it felt realistic to me because teenagers are a dramatic bunch and everything they feel is on another level. These types of emotions don't really even out for some people until they're in their 20s.
One thing I did like was that when Park realized Eleanor's home life was more than a little unpleasant he tried to be understanding and a safe place for her to land and just be a teenager.

Excellent book! I know why this won the Goodreads Choice Award for Young Adult literature. There are plenty of reviews that will say what made this book so special.
