Change in Time is one heck of a ride. It is the second book in Robyn Nyx’s Extractor Series and it picks up right where Escape in Time leaves off. I can’t write too much more because there are just too many spoilers. It is fast paced with a riveting plot, yet Nyx does an excellent job with character development. Badass, Extractor, Landry Donovan is even more badass, but her capacity for compassion and empathy is absolutely heartwarming. The juxtaposition of these character traits makes her one of the most interesting heroines I’ve encountered in the sci-fi or thriller genre.

Like Escape in Time, Nyx spends a good portion of the first half of the book establishing the inner workings of each of the main characters and setting up their new mission; then it is off and running into (or back to) an action packed plot with some twists that I didn’t see coming. I would definitely recommend reading Escape in Time first so that you know how this world operates and what all the main characters have been through. And of course the book ends with so many unanswered questions! I will be patiently be waiting for book three of the series.

This was all sorts of fun and definitely worth a read.
