What can I say - I've just always loved this kind of "teenager-finds-out-that-they're-special-and-saves-the-world" type of books, such as Harry Potter, Percy Jackson, Nevermoor, Charlie Bone and so on.

So far I've really enjoyed this series, however, Stellarlune wasn't my favorite one of it.

That's because it felt like everything was going sooo slowly. Who read the books 1-8 already knows that usually, in the first 75% of the book, there isn't happening that much and in the end of it, it gets really exciting and there's a lot going on. So far  I didn't mind that, but in Stellarlune many chapters are just about relationships and searching for clues not knowing what to do or where to start.

But I liked Sophie's confidence and new attitude and also chapter 42 (:

I'll read the 10th book once it'll be published anyways. The cliffhanger kinda made me curious again and really caught me off guard. Even the confusion is confused, I have no idea how the story will go on.

I must say, this book was just awesome. I finished this book in one day, which is the most I've ever read TBH. Furthermore, I can't tell if it was my determination to get to chapter 42 or my excitement. Either way, this book is 5 star.

The only issue I had which wasn't really an issue is that when Keefe came back everything was just awkward, and I was afraid of that. 2nd issue which again isn't that much of an issue was that when the main ship became a couple, one part felt kind of cringy, even though they were in a relationship some part just felt different. I can't tell if it was because of Keefe's abilities not functioning or just in general.

Chapter 42 had me jumping up and down like crazy. When Sophie was thinking about Keefe, and telling herself he would actually be a pretty good boyfriend, I literally jumped over my couch. But OMG Fitz was so annoying in this book, he had no right to tell Sophie what he said, and act like what he said didn't affect her. Though it feels like Sophie did was wrong, but not really she moved on like the girl boss she is, but it somewhat feels that she somewhat cheated on him, I know she didn't, and I'm super happy for sokeefe, but I just can't get this out of my head.

I'm still kinda of mad at Fitz after legacy, but I get where he was coming from, but he didn't respect her privacy, so I'm super happy Sophie got who was actually right for her. The ending was too shocking, and I don't mean the cliffhanger. I mean Gisela murdering Vespera. They spent 4 books hyping this character up for them to get killed, and I always thought it is the other way around, and the fact that she did it without being the tiniest bit shaken is concerning. I still don't know what Gisela's deep motives are, unless I missed something. I get the problem's of their world is an issue, but like what is she doing for herself, was it just power or something else.

Furthermore, I'm going to talk about the cliffhanger for a second, bc OMG that cliffhanger is not okay. We spent an entire book thinking about elysian, and she pops out and then BOOM, that's the end of the book. We still don't know what happened to Ro and if she dies then, I will not be okay. I will throw the book out the window, and if Keefe dies, the book will be thrown off a cliff and stuff will be smashed.

I loved the Sokeefe reunion, but after the hug it was awkward still, for reasons. And the awkwardness didn't make me want to throw the book down and never pick it up again. It was like the right reasons for the level of awkwardness. Though the fact that Sophie felt like she couldn't act like how she used to act around him, because of the level was not a bad thing in writing but just nOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO what if stays like this the entire time. (Not hating on this part). When she realized that she liked keefe i ran downstairs and jumped over my couch.

OMG Kenric and Oralie make me cry. The fact that they hated each other at the start is just omg. I absolutely  love their relationship, but the fact that Kenric loved her and would only resign to be together was just true love. And the fact that they were each other's top matches is making me cry. The fact that he took care of her and stayed by her side the "whole" night is just too much to handle. And the fact that he died in book 3 is so heartbreaking. They both loved each other. I love their chemistry but im afraid that will happen to sokeefe. I have much more to say but for now this is the end.

It was defintly a well written book that I enjoyed.

I want to start this off by saying that I did enjoy this book. I had a lot of fun reading it!
But it just seems so unnecessarily long. There’s so many scenes and conversations that go on for so many pages and I think a lot them should’ve been trimmed down. There’s no need for relatively unimportant scenes to last 50 pages or more.

Vague spoilers:
Most of this book felt like the characters talking about what they’re going to do than actually doing anything. And I know they’re trying to figure stuff out and that’s not always action-based, but I don’t think that’s a enough good excuse for how little happens in this book.
I didn’t mind it too much honestly, because of how much I enjoyed seeing all the characters again and

Less vague spoiler:
watching them all hang out at Foxfire.

But I can’t ignore that I think this is just a weak book overall.

ACTUAL SPOILER!
I will say that I’ve wanted Sophie and Keefe together for the last six years and it made really happy seeing that!
I also really like that Alden doesn’t show up even once in this entire book, he gets one or two mentions and that’s it! And I hope it stays that way
