I absolutely love this series. I love that the characters have relatable medical diagnosis at the forefront of these books. It is absolutely refreshing to read something where someone is experiencing something that I've experienced or something similar at least. So often the women characters are just pretty and don't have any icky things wrong with them. I say that meaning you never hear about the problems they may or may not have with their health, body, or mind.

I think this was super quick and plays off you knowing a lot of the characters from the previous read but I would absolutely read more from this author and can't wait for more in the series.

This was such a good read. Definitely more steamy and I love a good second chance romance where it makes sense for the person to be given a second chance. Love that the author puts a lot of work into the disability rep, and shows that disabled people deserve love and romance too. The narrators did a wonderful job. Hope there are more books in this series.

I liked the characters and the story, but I think it needed more development, particularly when it came to the couple's past. Their getting back together felt rushed, especially since we don't know what happened to their relationship before the start hooking up again, and at that point only one of them knew everything that happened before. I wished they had talked and put everything on the table before they started hooking up because it would have made more sense. I do like this universe and will continue with the books. They are quick and fun read, plus the disability rep is great.

The audiobook narrator was great.

CW: misogyny, toxic parents, chronic illness (Chron's disease), ableism, hospitalization and car accident (recounted)

I liked this so much more than the first one and I think it’s because I had lower expectations for the smut. The story is perfectly cheesy and dorky and the narrative arc was oddly short but since this was second chance it made sense for things to move faster. I thoroughly enjoyed that we got a double epilogue though!
