But its the approach that particularly sticks out. By unveiling the step-by-step escalation of badgering and pressure from Weinstein, the clarity of his accusers, the changing attitudes of his team at NBC, his personal experience as a man being surveilled as his career is threatened, Farrow makes the culture of Hollywood, news, politics, and the MeToo movement empathically understandable. an addictive read but horrifying to remember that it’s REAL. really liked how it’s also about the reporting of the story because that was silenced too.
