If you're a runner seeking motivation, Des Linden's story is one worth immersing into. The chapter alternate between her experience of running the Boston Marathon and key points of her career. It's an inside look of what the challenges may be more for a pressional long distance runner.

Wow wow wow wow wow! I have always admired Des but learning so much more about her and her dedication makes me admire her even more. It doesn’t matter if you know anything about running reading this will give you a new perspective on what it means to chase your dreams and never give up.

This was an engaging memoir - there is a lot to professional running that I knew about. Fun to hear her experiences and insights, particularly into the Boston Marathon.
