A good conclusion to the series that I enjoyed more than I expected. I missed having Jonah's POV, but it makes sense why it's Jordan's. The ending was highly satisfying and I'm going to kiss Katherine and Jonah.

I need to reread this whole series to be able to judge this book properly.

Like okay i liked the book as an ending of the series i guess but i didn’t like the book writ large i feel like. Idk it was a very frustrating experience to have been following these two heroes (Jonah and Katherine) for so long, to have loved them, lived with them, feel like i know them and then they are not the ones who lead to the books conclusion. I understand in some part that only Jordan could do the saving like it was impossible as she set it up for Jonah to do this work. But like i dont know Jordan. I dont know Jordan from a can of paint. So you’re telling me after following these characters for 8 books i see them for like maybe 2 chapters in the finale book? Idk Jordan was also an incredibly frustrating protagonist at least for the first half. He could not get over himself at all he was so annoying like he just frustrated me like why couldn’t Jonah and Katherine do this labor like actually why couldn’t they save the day like its actually weird to me. I did appreciate getting more background on second chance and him being a good guy in the end like that redemption is perhaps the only thing that made this book good. Also the random ceo that came in and he was the big bad??? Gary and hodge ending up being not in charge they’re just raging capitalists???? Idk it was just a LOT OF NEW PEOPLE who had to be introduced to save the day like you’re telling me none of our tons of current characters could save the day? Idk i was just waiting for like all the orphan kids to band together the adoptees and like save the day and it was a new guy. No hate on the new guy i just thought it was odd???? Idk im happy with like the last chapter and no shade like i GET WHAT WAS GOING ON i just didn’t love t you know? Fine ending but not the best and very frustrating to not get to spend time with the characters i loved. Like i grew to love Jonah and Katherine and i barely get to see them??? So weird. Idk 3.5 stars

I can't believe it's over. It's been an amazing 8 years! Loved the ending but I still want more.
