Only 4 stars for this one. I still enjoyed the story and the artwork (even though Jim Lee was absent from the roster this time) but I thought the storyline with Cheetah was weak. Also I missed the banter between Batman and Green Lantern.
With Flash missing for the entire Alantis storyline and Hal gone, the team felt kind of empty. I'm concerned will do to the team.
Overall another enjoyable read.

I don't know anything about Aquaman so this is an introduction for me.
I like the fast paced action. I've read less than ten graphic novels (all of them DC) so I don't have a whole lot of background info but I'm very interested to learn more.

Po obsahovej stránke som sa v podstate dozvedela to isté, ako v rovnomennom zväzku zo série o Aquamanovi, len teraz to bolo trochu s pozmeneným vizuálom. Len niektoré línie boli rozpracovanejšie, tak som sa dozvedela viac a hlavne mi teraz predchádzajúci zväzok JL dáva o niečo väčší zmysel. Teraz však na mňa čaká tá obluda Trinity war, takže asi najskôr budem musieť ísť sosať info do iných sérií. Na čo sa fakt neteším, ale aspoň tento zväzok bol epický - a možno som si až príliš užívala, keď dal Aquaman Batmanovi do zubov.

Eh. This is ok. The idea of Aquaman fighting divided loyalties between his Atlantean heritage and his human friends(??) is very interesting, but this only sort of explores it, frankly. I think I wanted another layer to the story. The resolution and the motivations are pretty simplistic. If the resolution had had another layer to it, it would have been more interesting to me. Worth a read. Off to watch the Animated Movie this inspired..

Among those crossovers that really works. Action packed and yet with a good deal of character development for Aquaman. What really makes this crossover work is that the writer remains the same, the supremely awesome Geoff Johns. Ivan Reis makes you really envious of his talents as the gorgeous artwork jumps off the page. Definitely a blockbuster comic...
