2020: i listened to the Duke Classics version this time. It was nice. I like how in the end of the book Austen is like "And Elizabeth taught Georgianna how to be saucy. The end." Way better than saying how many kids everyone had.

2015: I've lost track of how many times I've read this book, but it's good every time. This round I listened to the Blackstone Audio production and the narrator was great. She does voices that are satisfyingly similar to the A&E mini series.

“Confession: I have read Pride and Prejudice two hundred times. I get lost in the language, words like: Thither. Mischance. Felicity. I am always in agony over whether Elizabeth and Mr. Darcy are really going to get together. Read it! I know you’ll love it.” — You've Got Mail

OG enemies to lovers.

I was a bit hesitant to get into "Pride and Prejudice" because I didn't really enjoy the classics thanks to school, but this book proved me wrong! Beautiful and witty writing, bright and energetic characters, accompanied by a good dash of angst.

Makes me want to drink tea, attend balls, frolic in gardens, gossip with the girls about boys, and wear beautiful Victorian dresses.
