The book was a good read but something about the romance didn't really sit with me.
Despite Hannah being a bodyguard, her character felt boring? Idk, I can't put my finger on it and whilst I was rooting for Hannah, I didn't really care for Jack.

Deals with some heavy topics, but always maintains a lighthearted vibe, and it was that combo I wasn’t sure how much I liked.

This was occasionally a bit too cheesy or unrealistic, but I loved getting to know Jack and Hannah together at the ranch. Some funny, memorable scenes (the cow!!) along with emotional depth in their backstories. Made me eager to read more Katherine Center, as it was more romcom than some of her other books I'd read.

What a joy to read! I felt such butterflies during some of the scenes.

reading this in a post-(attempted) Trump assassination was so funny, life really does imitate art
