The research and data are interesting, and are presented in an easy-to-understand manner. I didn’t think the jokes were very funny though.

Amusing for sure, but as a young person Modern Romance had nothing unexpected or terribly interesting to tell me.

Not a fan of cable-sitcom dad humor but that aside, this was totally entertaining and had lots of geeky stats on modern (mostly hetero) relationships.

Interesting stats on dating and relationships, punctuated by Aziz's humor. While he presents good advice for tackling the problems in modern romance, ultimately the problem has no neat solution.

5/6/20: I really liked this one when I first read it. Now we know this author has a problematic history with dating. So can we really trust a book he writes on that topic?

I couldn't finish it. I really wanted to like it, but it just felt really repetitive. Maybe it would have been more enjoyable if I was single and actively dating...but I'm not sure.

A pleasant surprise. There is a ton of research and analysis mixed in well with Aziz's humor. Overall, a very interesting and humorous look at today's dating scene and how different it is around the world.

Chugging away. Good book that explores in more detail his motivation for alot of the Master of None episodes. Shocking stats and people who can't chat on a phone. I know the feeling all too well.
