Just knew the book is going to be quite obvi and a teenage drama.. the story is nice but the cheesy teenage drama is too much for me ( ps I Am a nicholas sparks book lover an saying that) . The last pages of the book is just toooo muccccch cheesyness.

Second after true blood and a ver strange book series I forbid myself to ever read a fae vampire stories. I hate faes. I never read fae fanatsy storis and what I hate even more are fae vampire stories.

Never going to just read a book ever again .... I will just end with fae vampire stories who take a strange turn with a stupid lead character

But for the cool story idea 3 stars.

The idea for the book is fun, but I think story is rushed; too much is happening all of the sudden.

A lot is left unclear (etc. mum's deal with the devil) which is probably explained in the next book, but I doubt I'll read it. The book is too short in my opinion to get attached to characters, so I don't really care how they end up.

I like Ari's tough side. She isn't hiding in a corner and whining about her misery. She gets up and tries to take the best of the situation.

Alright so to begin with, I loved this book. I read it in about three hours and immediately started the next one. This is kind of a problem for me however, because it didn't challenge me. Someone prior to me stated that it seemed like more of an outline of a book, and I completely agree. I need more teeth (pun intended) in this book. Someone please take this and make an adult version of it. The idea behind the story is incredible. I love it. And like I said, I loved the book.. I just really need a deeper, darker adult version of it.

This was a quick read. I had to get my head around that vampires were demons as I always class them as a separate species. The story has started off OK and I will carry on with the series as and when as I don't like leaving a book on a cliff hanger. Ari was feisty and I can see that she wants to make changes. Having 7 brothers to choose from readers will have their favourites. If it was a choice between Asher and Fen then I would be team Fen, already have a dislike to Levi. Whilst the majority of the book was written from Ari POV, there was a chapter that switched to Fen and it took me a couple of paragraphs to get into it.

well I should be honest and admit that I only got this audiobook as I'm just fond of the mans voice as I know him from adult romance novels and didn't realize that this was a young adult, more PG novel but I really did enjoy this. it did kinda seem like a big book crammed into a little book but I probably would have lost interest if it was too much longer tbh just as this isn't my preferred genre and I just don't have that big an attention span. I love the heroines personality, I love that there's a trans character and so many little details will be checking out the rest of the series.

Can't wait to read the next!

Loving this story! Very original vampire and fae origins. Strong, independent females, and beautiful scenery. I can see this world so clearly.

I loved this book and I don't know what I am to do until I can get the second one I have never been as shocked as I have reading this book or loved a book of this type in a long time and that makes me both happy and sad we need more books like this.

It’s been quite a while since I read this, so this won’t be a very in depth review.

I bought and read this book at the urging of my friend Lisa. It was completely addicting and I powered through the book. I remember it had an OMG ending, but for the life of me, I can’t remember what that ending was!

This book is perfect light reading for the PNR fan. The seven layers of hell are most similar to the realms of the fey. Each prince of hell (the vampires) rules their own territory, and they are each one of the seven deadly sins. They all want to marry the one girl, Ari, because of a prophesy. She’s supposed to spend something like a month with each one before making her decision and choosing which one will rule hell. I think. It’s been a while, okay?

Looking back, I really can’t say what captivated me about the book. It was very much on trend with other PNR books, but it was a unique world.

It’s worth the 99 cents for a quick and enjoyable ride. And if you fall in love with it, there are plenty more books in the series.

So vampire/PNR fans, this one is for you.

ETA - Realized I had one note in the book. "Noooooo!!!!" When the authors used Stalactites when they meant Stalagmites. :(
