This book was very good. I love Grace and Aaron together. The "forbidden love" aspect linked very well with their instant love connection. I love how confident and resolute Grace is in working towards and doing what she thinks is right. I also loved to see Aaron blossom throughout the book and turn into a more well rounded character than we saw in the first book.

This was a dnf for me. The 2nd in the series about a family of dysfunctional siblings. I couldn't get into this one because Aaron is either distracted by his raging boner and his need to bang Grace, OR his desire to protect her because she's an infantilized manic-pixie wounded bird. She clearly has trauma in her background (they both do), and would benefit from therapy before getting down and dirty in the woods. (I assume they're going to bang in the woods... I quit reading before it happened.)

I enjoy Tessa Bailey's spicy sex scenes, but these two main characters had too much emotional baggage for me. I want them to keep their clothes on and find someone to talk to.
