This book gave a lot of information without real consequences for the overall story.
While the background for a few of long standing side characters is given, it does not have any immediate impact. The Big Bad helps with the resolution.Even the part with Zee is a non issue because she just never stops trusting him deep down. So overall I was bored, if happy to see some character I liked again (and starting to dislike some who never learn yes you Mercy and you Adam ).

This book felt like when you orgasm … and you still came but it’s not the best you’ve had. It felt like a filler book and I want more so bad I itch. Of course authors aren’t work horses but I want the next one so bad!!! Oh and it also surprised me at the lack of sex scenes. I mean you knew it happened several times but your didn’t get ANY of it.
