This book was an okay read, but a disappointing conclusion to the series.

I have always enjoyed the show of consequences to any action/choice, and can even accept the consequences Kelsea is faced with in the conclusion, but the drastic change in characters' personalities/choices, abrupt introduction of convenient powers, discarded side storylines, and holes/imcompletion in the main plot were increadibly frustrating. It really just felt like the author didn't know how to wrap up the story and  patchworked some stuff together, leaving gaping holes.

A beautiful, rich story. No romance as a subplot which I usually go for, but the world building is amazing and this book is well worth the read just like the rest of the series. Very few series have progressed in a way that has impressed me and that is something worth noting about this trilogy in particular.
