I really wouldn’t consider this a thriller. I definitely wasn’t on the edge of my seat with anticipation but on the edge for the book to speed up. It was definitely giving man who doesn’t like to talk about feelings. I however, kept going because of Finch and loved the eeriness of Scotland.

With all of the content warnings that I even added, you would think this is a book of horror. But I finished the book thinking, that the story was more about love, what you'll do for your children, especially in the midst of so much trauma.shel_bay11's review against another edition
