Sometimes the 'perfect timing' of things was a little ridiculous but it was a cute read and I liked the series.

It was…nice while it lasted?
It is definitely captivating enough that so many people have read it and are reading it, and will continue to read it. All the way until the end.
The writing still hasn’t gotten much better, and the character development was more about lack of sensical character development. Perhaps with the exception of Celeste.
After all it was a series whose plot was based on the petty squabbles of women. And as such, continued showcasing the indescribably horrific extent of how vast and cringeworthy these the petty bickering can get. But since it was marketed as such can I still be flabbergasted and astounded that this premise existed and was somewhat successful?

Same old stuff... but still really good. Didn't feel it was as strong as the first two. Don't get me wrong, I still loved it!

I am not sure what to say about the conclusion to this series. This book starts just a few days after the Elite ends. This book probably takes place over a month or two. There are a few people who do not make it. I will wait until the end to say Spoiler alert and let you know at the end who does not make it.

This book has mystery, intrigue, romance, and the undying urge to jump into the book and kick King Clarkson in the family jewels. I really enjoyed this book greatly. I did wish that there was more to the epilogue than there was (however I have discovered another book to this series to take place by an heir cannot wait for March to get here).

SPOILER ALERT!!! SPOILER ALERT!!! SPOILER ALERT!!!

America's father dies from a heart condition.

King Clarkson dies in the last rebel attack on the palace.

Queen Amberly unfortunately dies protecting the King who does die anyways.

Celeste...While I did not like her in the second book we grew to love her in this book and in the end Southern Rebels manage to get disguises and get into the palace as Maxon goes to pick his bride and well a Southern Rebel walks right up to Celeste and shoots her in the back of the head.
