This broke my heart and shattered it into small pieces sinking in the sea of brutal reality and fear. I'm not sure how to say it but I fell in love and I fell with tears.

I had actually picked this book on purpose as I wanted to read shorter books, but I ended up wanting more from this book. I wished it was longer especially since it's so relevant to what's happening in the world today.

Probably the most powerful to length ratio I've ever read.
This is a short 'letter" from a father to his son. They are refugees. The pictures help to tell the story. The end of the book also tells the inspiration for Sea Prayer. It almost brought tears to my eyes. Though very short, the words and the pictures tell a much longer and in-depth story.
