I was so invested in Nyra & Riaan's story but 600 pages was too long. I almost dnf it because the story was taking too long to progress. I am happy I finished it, but if it had been like 250 pages less I would of given it 5 stars.

A Rollercoaster Of Emotions
I was so scared at the beginning as the story enters from part one of the book. I was so nervous as the story went up n down. Frustrated when everything aligned together; and finally happy when the story gave us a happily ever after. What better way to end the story am I right.
This book isn’t for everyone but I hope you guys will give this novel a chance. Although it may be taboo love, I overlook that idea and consider them more of a couple going through the ups n down of life and figuring out how to solve their problem in life. You can say that I learned a lot from both Riaan and Nyra because like Nyra, everyone’s made mistakes and like Riaan, we’d do anything to keep our loved ones safe. ❤️

Packed full of emotions
Book 2 of this duet had me crying so many times, both tears of sadness and heartbreak and tears of joy for the characters within!
We see the main characters grow throughout the book and the emotion shared between characters is beautiful!
