UMMMMMMMMMM, EXCUSE ME??? PAM WTFFFF

PLEASE LEAVE ME ALONE WHILE I GO RECOVER FROM THAT, PAM I HOPE YOU KNOW THAT YOU'LL BE PAYING FOR MY THERAPY AFTER THIS TRILOGY.

This book is traumatizing on so many levels that if I was still in therapy my therapist would be hearing all about it because lord jesus christ this book ain't for the weak, I reread this book 2 weeks ago and it officially became my Roman Empire.

If I went on a deep analyzing sesh on the the characters I would YAP and spoil it but I don't wanna do that so just know that you'll love them, hate them, despise them, wanna throw up, and feel conflicted about them all at the same time, it's a whole rollercoaster of emotional damage, trauma and plot twists, and I can't wait to reread book 2.

I was anxiously excited for this new series from the lovely Pam Godwin and she has written a story that is absolutely sensational and I COULD NOT PUT THIS BOOK DOWN! 📖
Refusing to read the blurb or any early reviews I went into it blind, not caring what the book was about, because Pam always delivers stories with jaw dropping and eye opening story lines. As well as mind blowing characters that leap off the page and into my head and heart easily, without resistance.
I needed 24 hours to digest and go over in my mind what was thrown at me as a reader, getting all my thoughts in order, but I am still scrambling and regurgitating it all!
There is not a favorite character for me, they all equally share that top spot, but Denver is despicable, cruel and a deviant and I wish him nothing but the anger and resentment.
Of course Frankie is lovable and adorable, she has the strength of ten men, is still kind and caring to those who deserve it. Her relationship with Leo, Kody, and Wolf is all over the place, she loves them equally, but differently, and struggles with how to express her different love to them individually.
The last 50% of the book was intense, with non stop chaos and calamity, but what broke me was that ending. Yes it's a cliffhanger, yes a lot of information was dumped, leaving some questions answered but opening a whole nest of other issues and matters that were shocking and disturbing.
I can't wait for Cage of Ice and Echoes!
