A collection of bizarro stories that introduce the more fantastical elements in a deft way. Like episodes of The Twilight Zone mixed with the TV show The Office, where no one says what they mean and it's all very awkward. Most of the stories have a theme of feelings being blunted by manners and acting appropriately. In other words: British.
