This is one of the hardest books I’ve ever read. There were points where I HAD to put it down and walk away bc it was so dark.
I’ve never read a book that made me feel so disgusted and sick to my stomach and made me cry like this. There absolutely should be a trigger warning before the book even starts.
There’s no romance to me in this book. It’s smut, which I’m okay with, while others aren’t.
If you have triggers of child death and abuse, this book is NOT for you.

Lowen an up and coming author gets an opportunity to write the last 3 books ina big series. Verity isn't able to write them herself as she is medically incapacitated. But when lower takes a trip to her house to go through her notes she finds something she never expected and starts seeing the house and the people in it in a much creepier light.

I hate Colleen Hoover but this book was pretty good. A little boring and it didn’t make a lot of sense

This book was INTENSE, so much so I had trouble putting it down despite the very dark nature of it. A trigger warning should definitely be the first thing people see before starting it.

This enthralling psychological thriller follows the complex lives of Lowen, a struggling writer who stumbles upon the unfinished manuscript of a bestselling author, Verity Crawford. As she delves into Verity's haunting words, she uncovers dark secrets that intertwine with her own reality, blurring the lines between fiction and truth. The magnetic chemistry between Lowen and Jeremy, Verity's enigmatic husband, adds layers of intensity to a narrative already bursting with suspense and shocking revelations.
Hoover navigates the realms of love, betrayal, and the fragility of the human psyche, crafting a story that keeps you on the edge of your seat while tugging at your heartstrings. "Verity" is an unforgettable journey into the depths of the human mind and relationships.
