I'm glad these are the types of books teenagers are reading. Great way to use a classic story to give boys and girls sex positive models that encourages them to make the choices that are right for them.

In all honesty, I was really frustrated while reading this book.

Well, the story, in general, was pretty interesting. But, this being interesting doesn't erase the fact that it was lame and stupid. It was, a bit, focused on sex- and it ruined everything for me. Lisa was described as a smart girl but, honestly, I have to disagree. Trying to end a rivalry by having a sex strike seemed really dumb.

But, I must say, I loved the fact that the girls were really honest (despite being ridiculous) about their sex life. Maybe, in some ways, other people (specially high school kids) might learn something from it. But on my part, it was really bleh!

And yeah, I appreciate the "tearing up my heart" part. I cracked hard at that.

Honestly the main character ruined the book. I liked the idea and even some of the characters but Lissa was just a complete bitch. Unrealistic that she'd even have a single friend with her attitude.

Yet another amazing read from Kody Keplinger.
Every book of her's I read just gets me more and more excited for the next.
Wonderful characters and relatable scenarios.

After the first chapter I fell in love with Lissa, her character though seems like she doesn't at first has an amazing depth to her.
With Cloe I just could not stop laughing she was snarky and adventurous and a person that everyone can't help but adore.
Randy and Cash, on the surface are absolute jocks, but underneath both such different and diverse characters. One you just love to hate and the other you just can't not love.

Strikes, Oaths, Lies and and all out Girls vs. Boys war.
It's a great one to read for a laugh.

I loved it. I absolutely fucking loved it! I think it is a great book. Has an amazing story to tell and something you can learn. Especially young girls. It talks a lot about sex. But not in a way that is telling kids to go and do it. It would make them feel like no matter where they stood on the sex front they are normal! And I think that is great. I believe high school girls should read this and talk with their moms and or older sisters about it. I think this books is a great teaching opportunity.

This is a highschool story where the football team and soccor team are rivals and prank and hurt each other.
So, Lissa, the main character comes up with a plan with the girlfriends of the two teammates to end this shit.

This is pretty good actually.
Cash Sterling might sound like a bad boy Character. But NO. He is the boy next door Character. Omggaadd he's soo sweet. But not so sweet to give diabetes too.

I love how the love between MCs is not the only relevant romance. Other love stories, or non-romantic relationships are also present. Also covers topics like how girls are treated poorly by guys(and how they don't realise this).

Lissa turns into a hypocrite in the middle chapters but she sooner learns this and tries to change. So all's well.

I loved reading this.

I didn't enjoy this as much as I did The DUFF. I could see where the author was trying the go with message about double standards, but It didn't resonate with me. I do like how Kody Keplinger writes flawed characters. It makes them feel a bit more authentic to me. However, the books plot line feel kind of flat and I wasn't attached to the love story that much.

I devoured this book. The reason it got 4 instead of 5 starts is because I have to admitt that I like DUFF more and I got a little annoyed at how every guy in the book raked his fingers through his hair when he was thinking.

I could not put this story down, I wanted to know what would happen between the girls as well as with the strike and how the Cash, Randy Lissa things would all work out. I got to say I am proud of Lissa for her final decision and the girl that she turned into at the end. She defiantly grew throughout the book.

The book also brought up the taboo subject of sex in high school and how no one feels normal with their situation. I liked how the girls learned that there was no normal and banded together with it. I also liked how most of the characters in the book were had more to them then just high school and the strike. You got to see how family situations shaped the main characters too. I think I found a new favorite author.
