I'm not sure how I feel, it was a good book, it was a very quick read, I was confused about the age of the MC which we don't know.. he seemed like he was 11 in the beginning and then he seemed all of a sudden 25+

I think so much more could have been elaborated on in the relationships.

The twist was really good though, and the book ended on a cliffhanger. I will continue the series and hope there is more in the sequel.

A quick story that pulls you in without you realising you're holding your breath.
Robin and Arabella are lonely and searching for something more when they stumble across each other.
Despite being from kingdoms at war with each other, they fall in love and risk everything for that love.
A beautiful tale of forbidden love, honour, loyalty, friendship and betrayal.
There wasn't much in the way of indicators for the passage of time so it did feel a little quick for their relationship but I'm very much interested to see where this goes. I did get the vibe that there was something going on with Arabella and without spoilers I got the feeling that there was a potential for her being under magical influence for her feelings at the end.
